Una qüestió d’identitat

La sentència del català a l’escola.
Per començar, mirem-nos-ho amb serenitat: Catalunya n’ha
passat de molt pitjors i, a diferència del drama de la guerra, l’exili i
la dictadura dels nostres pares, res del que passi ara no ens agafa ni
captius ni desarmats.

Autoestima
Som al cantó correcte de la història. Malgrat tots els intents
d’aniquilació, Catalunya i la seva llengua encara existeixen, mil anys
després. Aquells que abracin la causa de la llibertat i de la cultura
no poden sinó abraçar la causa de Catalunya.

Persistència
A vegades, cal repetir el que és obvi. Per a nosaltres, l’espanyol és més
que un idioma útil per anar pel món, i per a molts de nosaltres, és una
llengua de la família, si no la llengua de la família.
La seva superioritat demogràfica és tremenda, sense oblidar que estem
obligats a saber-lo per llei. Per això tots els catalanoparlants som
bilingües. Per això el nostre sistema educatiu garanteix el coneixement del
català i el castellà al final de l’ensenyament obligatori. Els
catalanoparlants no tenim cap problema amb l’espanyol,
sinó amb l’anglès.
Qualsevol que no negui la realitat de Catalunya sap que l’únic problema
real és al revés: com garantir el coneixement i l’ús del català de tothom
que viu a Catalunya, sobretot ara, quan per a centenars de milers
d’immigrants la llengua de la família és l’amazig, l’àrab, l’urdú o
l’espanyol de Sud-amèrica. Aquest és el problema i per això la immersió
és imprescindible.

Indignació
Catalunya va seguir els procediments previstos a la llei i va votar si a
l’Estatut, malgrat que ja venia retallat pel Congrés, víctima de la
calculada histèria política del Partit Popular i l’ànima jacobina del PSOE.
Un Tribunal Constitucional desacreditat el va sentenciar políticament, i ara
resulta que hem d’anar cap enrere? De cap manera. La dignitat passa per
un gest excepcional de desobediència.

Així s’han comportat altres pobles en el curs de la història, i ara ens toca
a nosaltres. (Això sí, no fem escarafalls amb les sentències si després no
som capaços d’aguantar una conversa en català o ens dirigim en castellà
a un desconegut.)

Fer un pensament
No podem continuar vivint en aquest continu estrès nacional. No podem
admetre que Espanya ens tracti com una nosa, que presenti la llengua
catalana en termes de conflicte, que ens esgoti fiscalment, que ignori la
nostra producció cultural, que hagi arribat a boicotejar-nos comercialment
i que, a sobre, alimenti i propagui diàriament la mentida sobre Catalunya,
tant se val que parli de llengua o d’impostos. Ja fa massa temps que
dura, i tots ho veiem. Les crides al desacatament de la sentència
d’aquests dies, o a la insubmissió fiscal mesos enrere, són manifestacions
d’un malestar constant que evidencia un problema de fons que no fa més
que créixer i que ja no podem ignorar ni llegar a la pròxima generació:
l’única convivència possible amb Espanya és la de dos bons veïns.
Catalunya no pot continuar sent tractada amb els mateixos drets que un
menor d’edat.
Ser catalans és la nostra manera de ser al món. Massa gent ha patit
tortura, presó, exili o mort per preservar la nostra identitat. La resposta
que ara donem, i singularment la que donin els partits polítics
catalans, és una qüestió de dignitat!

Una question de identidad

La sentencia del catalán a la escuela.
Para empezar, mirémonoslo con serenidad: Cataluña ha
pasado de muy peores y, a diferencia del drama de la guerra, el exilio
y la dictadura de nuestros padres, nada del que pase ahora no nos coge ni
cautivos ni desarmados.

Autoestima
Somos al lado correcto de la historia. A pesar de todos los intentos
de aniquilación, Cataluña y su lengua todavía existen, mil años
después. Aquellos que abracen la causa de la libertad y de la cultura
no pueden sino abrazar la causa de Cataluña.

Persistencia
A veces, hay que repetir el que es obvio. Para nosotros, el español es más
que un idioma útil para ir por el mundo, y para muchos de nosotros, es una
lengua de la familia, si no la lengua de la familia.
Su superioridad demográfica es tremenda, sin olvidar que estamos
obligados a saberlo por ley. Por eso todos los catalanoparlantes somos
bilingües. Por eso nuestro sistema educativo garantiza el conocimiento del
catalán y el castellano al final de la enseñanza obligatoria. Los
catalanoparlantes no tenemos ningún problema con el español,
sino con el inglés.
Cualquier que no niegue la realidad de Cataluña sabe que el único problema
real es a la inversa: como garantizar el conocimiento y el uso del catalán de todo el mundo que vive en Cataluña, sobre todo ahora, cuando para centenares de miles de inmigrantes la lengua de la familia es la amazig, el árabe, el urdú o el
español de Sudamérica. Este es el problema y por eso la inmersión
es imprescindible.

Indignación
Cataluña siguió los procedimientos previstos a la ley y votó si al
Estatuto, a pesar de que ya vendía recortado por el Congreso, víctima de la
calculada histeria política del Partido Popular y el alma jacobina del PSOE.
Un Tribunal Constitucional desacreditado lo sentenció políticamente, y ahora
resulta que tenemos que ir ninguno atrás? De ninguna forma. La dignidad pasa
por un gesto excepcional de desobediencia.

Así se han comportado otros pueblos en el curso de la historia, y ahora nos toca
a nosotros. (Eso sí, no hacemos aspavientos con las sentencias si después no
somos capaces de aguantar una conversación en catalán o nos dirigimos en castellano a un desconocido.)

Hacer un pensamiento
No podemos continuar viviendo en este continuo estrés nacional. No podemos
admitir que España nos trate como un estorbo, que presente la lengua
catalana en términos de conflicto, que nos agote fiscalmente, que ignore nuestra
producción cultural, que haya llegado a boicotearnos comercialmente
y que, encima, alimente y propague diariamente la mentira sobre Cataluña,
tanto se vale que hable de lengua o de impuestos. Ya hace demasiado tiempo que
dura, y todos lo vemos. Los llamamientos al desacato de la sentencia
de estos días, o a la insumisión fiscal meses atrás, son manifestaciones
de un malestar constante que evidencia un problema de fondo que no hace más
que crecer y que ya no podemos ignorar ni legar a la próxima generación:
la única convivencia posible con España es la de dos bonos vecinos.
Cataluña no puede continuar siendo tratada con los mismos derechos que un
menor de edad.
Ser catalanes es nuestra manera de estar en el mundo. Demasiada gente ha sufrido
tortura, prisión, exilio o muerto para preservar nuestra identidad. La respuesta
que ahora damos, y singularmente la que den los partidos políticos
catalanes, es una cuestión de dignidad!

We cannot admit that Spain should treat us as a hindrance, which presents the Catalan language in terms of conflict, which exhausts us fiscally, that ignores our cultural production, which has managed to boycott us commercial and which, it raises, feeds and spreads every day the lie on Catalonia, so much it uses that he speaks about language or about taxes. Already too much for time it lasts, and we all see it. The calls to the contempt of the judgment of these days, or to the fiscal rebellion months behind, are manifestations of a constant discomfort that demonstrates a basic problem that it does not do any more that to grow and that already we cannot ignore to bequeath to the near generation: the only possible conviviality with Spain is that of two neighboring bonds.

Catalonia cannot continue being treated by the same rights that a minor. To be Catalans is our way of being in the world. Too many people have suffered torture, prison, exile or dead man to preserve our identity. The response that now we give, and singularly the one that the Catalan political parties give, is a question of dignity!

He’s Adam Brody. There’s no other like him: he is that unique, slightly eccentric, downright sexy nerd of a man we all came to know and love as Seth Cohen on The O.C. and he’s fucking hot. That disarming smile and adorkable manner made you love and lust after him equally.

He’s a musician. We recently got another little taste of it in Jennifer’s Body where he played the douchebag Satan worshiping lead singer of Low Shoulder, but he’s actually a drummer and a seems to be a pretty good one. Musical propensities always up the hot factor, don’t they?

He’s the boy next door.
